Il femminismo di oggi è anti-uomo. Ondate di veleno contro gli uomini, percepiti come causa dei problemi delle donne. La guerra di genere e l’atteggiamento anti-uomo che avrebbero dovuto scomparire con il raggiungimento della parità, sono invece divenute più intense.

Il femminismo è ormai diffusamente associato come anti-uomo. Anche Lady Gaga, una icona culturale moderna dice “Non sono femminista. Io amo gli uomini”.

Il femminismo ha cessato di interessarsi alla maggioranza della popolazione, e si è ritirato dedicandosi a temi marginali. […]

I giorni del femminismo sono passati. Il suo stile aggressivo ha alienato gli uomini e fatto fuggire le donne. […]

È arrivato il momento che le donne dicano con coraggio e voce chiara: femminismo, no grazie.

The end of the road for Feminism
When it comes to talking about women there is only one game in town – feminism.

But feminism is a toxic, battle-hardened and arrogant philosophy which has lost its way and
is no longer fit for purpose. As a commenter in the Guardian recently noted, ‘feminism is an
utterly hollow identification’ – they are right.

Feminism limps along, occasionally propped up by those from the radical Left who try, in
vain, to breathe life into a term which has long since ceased to have any sensible meaning to
the vast majority of the population. Feminists spend more effort claiming that feminism is
somehow ‘mainstream’ than they do on the cause of improving the lives of women.

So, what does today’s feminism stand for?

Today’s feminism is anti-men. Streams of vitriol flood toward the perceived cause of the
current problems facing women, men. Sustained by the ‘Battle of the Sexes’, the anti-male
attitude, which should have died out as great strides in equality were achieved, has become
more intense.

Feminism is now widely associated with anti-male attitudes. Even Lady Gaga, a modern day
cultural icon, linked the two in 2009, “I’m not a feminist. I hail men, I love men”.

Furthermore, feminism has ceased to be about the majority of the population and has
retreated to those issues and causes at the margins. Most women feel uncomfortable
describing themselves as feminists, and without the support of the people they purport to
represent, how can they continue? Instead today’s feminists jump on passing bandwagons –
environmentalism? – feminist are now also radical environmentalists – anti-cuts? – all feminists
must forcefully oppose all government cuts. And so they paint themselves into a corner.

Feminism has had it is day. Its aggressive style has alienated men and turned away women.
In today’s world and with today’s brand of feminism, talking about women has become taboo
and stigmatised. Ironically, the greatest success of modern feminism has been to shut down the
debate about women.

It is time for women to stand up and shout – feminism? Not in my name!
